The "holy crap, who would pay for that" Winner

Holy Thursday. No, not a real holiday or anything like that. But just glad that it is here :)

Alright, no lollygagging around today. Here is the shiznitabam you have been waiting for.

IMHO, the worst of the worst of SkyMall.

If you didn't get a chance to see my choices for 'the good's and 'the bad's from the last post, take a second.

Especially if you are prone to getting sloppy drunk and sloshing wine around....

See?! You're welcome.

Now, for the "holy crap, who would pay for that" category.

For those of you who know SkyMall, you know that this was a tough decision. It is loaded with page after page of useless, albeit fun and entertaining to look at, crap.

But I think this one takes the cake.

Or should I say, it's the cat's meow...

Introducing the Litter Kwitter!

Now you can freak your cat out when you walk in on him going number 2.

"With the Litter Kwitter 3-Step Cat Toilet Training System, you can teach your cat to use any human toilet in eight weeks or less."
I'm sorry kitty, so sorry.
It wasn't really the product that freaked me out, it was the picture above.

And once visiting the SkyMall website, I encountered this beauty.

Why do drugs when you can just watch this video and feel like you are having an acid flash back*!

(*no, don't know from experience, thanks.)

I dunno, call me crazy, but there would be something sooo freaky about walking into your bathroom and seeing little Kitty Kat taking a deuce on the toilet. And I know my cat gets pure joy out of pooping in a sandy litter box and then kicking the germy particles all over the place. So how could I deprive him of that!?

:)

Anyways, next time you fly, you'll have to check out SkyMall and see what all kinds of goodies you can find. I am looking forward to my next flight in 2 weeks, maybe they will already have the next issue out! haha.

Have a great Thirsty Thursday. And I think I might have to do at least one more German Frackin' Friday tomorrow. You know, for old time's sake.

  1. I saw something similar on that show Shark Tank where people pitch their ideas hoping to find investors. No one bought in!

I have a couple Skymalls magazines I snagged from recent trips that I want to use in a blog post - it's AMAZING the crap featured in those!

  2. Hahahaha! I am laughing so hard because I DID buy that for my cat. (If you had to clean the litter after a 17 lb cat, you'd buy it too)

  3. hahaha- I'm reminded of anchorman when Ron says to Buster, "what? you ate an entire brick of cheese and you pooped in the refrigerator? I'm not even mad, thats amazing!" not sure why, but I thought of that and I keep laughing :)

  9. I don't think I would want to use that toilet again. Call me prissy. TMI LOL

  10. I'm sure they spike the toilet with cat nip.

  11. That video is disturbing. If we had a spare bathroom (off a den or something that was mostly unused) then I would maybe reconsider potty training our cat. But for now (with one bathroom) it is hard enough with two people sharing it, let alone our cat :)

  13. taking or dropping a deuce? That was solid gold! Blogging rhetoric, that is. Have I told you lately that I'm in awe of your consistent and constant ability to keep it positive, happy, and ultimate bingbong funny here? Oh yeah.

  14. Hahaha! Something for our little cat! It would be weird if he was doing his thing when I enter the bathroom:))

  15. I think I'm going to puke and then die. That would freak me out if I walked in on that. I'd feel like I was violating my cat's privacy but then I'd realize that it's a damn cat, it doesn't need privacy and then I would be all kinds of mixed up which could lead to useless deep philosophical discussions about the need for privacy not only for humans but animals, and maybe even some plants and then I would be so ashamed of myself.

  16. Oh, to dream the impossible dream! I would love to teach our cats. Does that make me a crazy cat lady? Perhaps its because I never had kids? Who knows.
Our male cat likes to drink out of the toilet. Nothing like stumbling to the bathroom in the middle of the night. No glasses on or contacts in and almost sit on your cat. Good times. I highly recommend it. The slice on your inner thigh is MORE than worth it. :)

  17. Frankly, I'd have no problem with my cats, Chip & Dale, using the toilet with one of these contraptions.

At least they'd leave the dayum seat down when they were done UNLIKE the human male in my life.

Just wonder if they would flush afterwards...

  18. bahahaha * * that's ca-nooky crazy!

  20. I made the mistake of clicking on the video...I'll never be quite the same again.

But dude, I would love if I really could train my cats to do that.

  21. I have a friend who used this for her cat! It worked. I totally want to try it. Not scooping the box again?? That would be awesome!

  22. Hahahaha!!! I thought this one was ridiculous too. Also, that picture is totally scary! I liked the cat litte trays which were in the plant pots too...they were hilarious!

  23. I actually saw this product on "Shark Tank" and wasn't surprised, because years before the idea came out to make money, my Sister's cat was already doing her business in the family toilet - and that was at least 20 years ago. There will be some money made on these products. I do not have a cat. I have a cairn terrier that pees n poos outside.
First time I saw my Sister's cat on the "Loo", I thought I had too much wine :)
    Cheers, Lilly

  24. I have to first say that I agree with everyone who said it would be awesome to train your cat to go in the toilet. Just yesterday, I had to search for 'buried treasure' haha, so gross.
@SD - Haha, I guess when the Shark Tank doesn't work, you go straight to SkyMall, lol. Aren't they great. You have to write about them too! So much material.
@Heather - YES!!! Did it work fine?? Did the video creep you out?! Awesome.
@Meri - well thanks Meri, now I will have Anchorman quotes stuck in my head all day long. Wait, who am I kidding? I already always do ;)
@Shona - haha, well get them!
    @Laura - so creepy, right?!
@CMD - yes! Totally what I was thinking too. Gotta love 'em!
@Oilfield - hmmm, a lot of people are saying they want this. Maybe I can get a percentage of the sales, lol :)
@An Irish - don't you feel like you are invading that little guy's privacy. The video of him peeing is even worse. YUCK!
@Megan - You caught me, the hubs and I produced the video and I shopped that photo ;)
@Marjory - haha, seriously! TMI for sure
@Copyboy - ohhhh, that is one way to do it. But then they get all loopy when they poopy! ha.
@KT - Can you just imagine knocking on the door, going "Come on Mr. Whiskers (cause obviously that is your cat's name) I have to get ready for work, get out of there!" Nope.
    @Lisa - thanks.
@Mollie - I like to keep my vocabulary classy over here. Well thanks Mollie, that actually really means a lot to me right now. :) I try my best, and I think, annoying as it might be, the more positive the better. Life is too short, right?! Now YOU put the smile on my face this morning!
@Mrs K - so weird. Like, does he also need to learn to lock to door so you don't burst in on him?!
@Jordan - seriously! Counceling might even be necessary after walking in on that. For the both of you! haha. Your comments always crack me up!
@Bernie - hahahaha, dying here, dying. I can just imagine you stumbling in and almost sitting on your cat at 3 in the morning. Too funny. Yeah, if he drinks out of it, I don't know if I would also let him poop in it.
@PATTY!! - hi, first of, GFC isn't letting me know when you have a new post. Boooo! Secondly, so true. I think this little feline would be better than a lot of males I know. At least he keeps all his pee IN the toilet :)
@bLee - no kidding. Ca-nooky, what a great word to describe it!
@Shalyn - haha, you would say that! Too funny!
@Katie - Katie, I am sorry. I guess I owe you an apology. No, you are not on drugs, that was real life. And you are right, your life will never be the same ;)
@Lauren - Really?! That would be pretty nice. Did she have to watch the video?? I am amazed it actually worked!
@Missy - Really scary, right?! Those are funny too, gotta love everything and anything about SkyMall. I hope you and I randomly get on a flight together one day and we just go over all that that little magazine has to offer ;) haha
@TheSaucyKodz - love your name! too funny. Wow, that is pretty amazing it was already doing that! Haha, I can see how you would think that you had one too many when you spotted him on the loo! Hilarious. She should have cashed in on this baby :) Thanks for stopping by!

  26. I bought the CitiKitty for Dexter (the other cat toilet training kit). NO SHAME!!!! I have 3 & 1/2 bathrooms in this house for 2 people (and a baby who won't be using the toilet in December). He can have one of the bathrooms to do this! Seriously, I think it's awesome! NO LIE!!! lol! I just loved your comment on "walking in on your cat taking a deuce."
